Unlike mountainous destinations where the scenery changes with elevation, hiking in Grand Cayman is about paying attention to the small details.

A trained eye can spot wildlife tracks, hidden fossils, skeletal remains, feeding and mating tropical birds, and countless other seemingly invisible activities which take place in the natural world around us.

The landscape also tells the story of how these islands were formed. Jagged limestone, ancient coral reefs lifted above sea level, sinkholes, and weathered ironshore reveal millions of years of geological history beneath your feet.

Once you know what you’re looking at, every step becomes more interesting.
